Past ICCP Conferences
Below are links to information from the most recent ICCP conferences. Available for each
conference is a description of; the theme, a picture gallery and downloadable resource papers presented at
each conference.
Lisbon 2010 Several themes emerged that are worth
further consideration in the future. Children's play can be observed in three areas: in the family and at home,
in many institutions and in public space.
Brno 2007 A theme running through many of the
presentations was the attitudes teachers and play leaders have towards play and its potential beneficial or
harmful effects. An underlying discussion was about their concepts of play.
Krakow 2004 The 23rd World Play Conference took place at the Pedagogical University of Krakow in
September 2004 and had as its motto: Play and Education.
Erfurt 2001
